The high art of gemstone processing –
exquisite jewelry from Vienna.
A. E. KÖCHERT
IMPERIAL
When the Vienna Congress was taking place in Vienna in 1814, it was a good time for jewelers, as women had to be fitted out for all the festivities. That year marked the begin of the success story by A. E. Köchert, the imperial chamber jeweler who later designed the famous Sisi star for Empress Sisi. Today, the family business still counts as one of the top jewelers internationally.
